ZigBee defined as IEEE 802.15.4 it is a based specification used in various high-level communication protocols for small PANs (personal area networks) using low-power digital radios, very suitable for home automation, data collection in the medical environment and other low-power & bandwidth needs with wireless connection requirements. Hence, the short definition could be: Zigbee is an ad-hoc wifi, low-power and data rate, close proximity network.

Woox Smart Wireless Gateway R7070 is the bridge or hub connecting your WiFi router/network with the new Zigbee empowered Smart Home Devices.

The Woox ZigBee Gateway can hold up to 50 ZigBee devices including smart light bulbs and smart switches, smart plugs and sockets, diverse smart sensors, smart radiator and water valves, smart locks and many more.

Connect the Woox Smart ZigBee Gateway R7070 to your home or office 2.4GHz WiFi router and it creates its own Zigbee environment where you can connect all the existing Zigbee smart devices.
Interconnectivity with other brands and services like IFTTT

The Woox R7070 ZigBee Gateway is compatible with most of the Smart Home Devices wising ZigBee 3.0 communication protocol. You have the freedom to use any other smart ZigBee system and resources for creating the most complex routines for your home or office.

You have the liberty to use various other smart systems and supplies for building the most complex coalesced smart routines for your home or office. Interconnecting your Woox Smart ZigBee devices with other smart home devices either from Woox or different other brands and controlling all via IFTTT, it never been easier.
Voice Control for your ZigBee Smart Home Devices

Unless you have the latest (4th Gen) Alexa, your smart home assistant won’t be able to communicate directly with your ZigBee devices, but with the Woox R7070 ZigBee hub, you are solving this impediment. The Woox ZigBee Gateway will connect your ZigBee smart home devices and makes them available for the Alexa or Google assistant to be run and automated.

After installing the ZigBee hub in the SmartLife app and peering the ZigBee smart home devices with the gateway, your home assistant will be able to discover your ZigBee devices and you’ll easily be able to send voice commands to get the statuses, information and run them all.
